OraPointLabâ„¢ GC/MS (or LC/MS/MS) quantitative analysis delivers a legally defensible, scientific process. It is conducted on oral fluid / saliva taken at the same time as a sample for an on-site or lab-based screen.
It is recommended that GC/MS confirmatory testing be conducted for any non-negative result obtained by an on-site screen.
Only the specific drug class(s) indicated via an initial screen needs to be confirmed. For example, an OPIATE class non-negative screen result, would be followed by GC/MS testing for all OPIATE parent and metabolites drugs. A sample list of drugs and metabolites with Navignet3 established GC/MS processes is shown below. Please contact us for further information.
Reporting avialable via secure, encrypted INTERNET, eMail, Fax, & Phone.
Please Note: Should the GC/MS process detect a quantity of drug or drug metabolite at or above designate cut-off levels, it is recommended that an MRO process be intiated and a final "POSTIVE", or "NEGATIVE" result be determined.
